Stephen entered the financial service industry in 1996, and he has been a Certified Financial Planner professional since 2001.
His earlier career in consumer products was an ideal foundation for his work as a financial planner. Attention to detail, grace under pressure and conservative behavior in complex situations are hallmarks of his current popularity with clients in the practice. He is capably supported by a team of administration, technical and underwriting specialist whose teamwork and follow through are setting new standards of service excellence in building lifetime relationships with the expanding client base.
Stephen is passionate about helping you build a financial plan which is based on your goals and core values. This process helps you make smart choices about your money for reasons that are important to you, which helps improve your quality of life.
Having a financial plan will help you to consolidate all of your assets into one balanced program so that you can improve your asset accumulation in less time with fewer risks along the way, which means that you are more likely to spend your golden years watching your grandchildren growing up instead of nervously checking your bank balance or your investments.
Our client base is a mixture of mid-to high income families, business owners, professionals, and seniors who are more focused on their quality of life than nervously watching their finances.
Future plans that currently excite Stephen's office include using technology more robustly in delivering superior client information and customizing communication to ensure maximum satisfaction as family and business needs evolve in the years ahead.
Stephen is happily married to Shelley, and they are the proud parents of one very enthusiastic young boy. Away from the business, he enjoys family time in the great outdoors, and is an active volunteer with Scouts Canada. Stephen is also on the Board of Directors of CARP Nova Scotia.
